Scroll button is acting strangely and I want to change it back to normal

In my excel 2007 I have done something that I am not aware of. I have a mouse with a scroller roller on it. When I used to us it on my excel spread sheet the scroll button zooms in and zooms out. I have to move the mouse to the scroll bar to get it to scroll. What setting have I changed that is making the scroll bar work only on the zoom in and zoom out.

Any chance your keyboard's CTRL key is stuck? Ctrl + scroller = zoom.

If not, someone else using Excel 2007 had luck with this (which I can't replicate in Excel 2010): go to the Control Panel, Mouse, Wheel, click option button: "Use Microsoft Office 97 Scrolling Emulation Only". And it now works!

Go to the top left hand corner of your excel click it and click EXCEL OPTION
Click advance
and untick the "zoom on roll intellimouse

Excellent, that did it for me it does not look like my control button was set I must have set them when I was adding the data analyzer
