Adding additional colums in the pivot table

    Hello Excel Heros,

Please help me in adding additional columns in to the pivot table after the GRAND TOTAL column as shown in the attached spreadsheet.

Also, is there an option to remove the grand total column ? I want to keep the grand total column in the spreadhsheet for now. I am just asking for curiosity sake

    Thanks Excel Dumbo

Not sure which additional columns you require. Please explain further. If these are calculation based on your pivot table results, you could populate them in the adjacent columns

Yes, right click anywhere on the pivot table--got to pivot table options--uncheck the grand total for rows checkbox

    hope this helps!

Re: Adding additional colums in the pivot table

    Hello Ace,
Cell references N9 to Q16 are the additional columns i would like to add in to the pivot table.

At the moment these columns (N9 to Q16) are done outside the pivot table. I would like to include these four columns within the pivot table. I would love to these columns after the grand total column.

    Thanks for the second tip.

    A few questions..
    - Where do you get the value in N26 from?
    - Where do you get values in I19:K20 from?

Since these are calculations based on values which are external to your pivit table data, you would have to calculate them outside the pivot table, just as you are doing now

U are right. The calculations are based on values external to the pivot table.

Can you please give me a formlua to calculate the Total Sales for Japan-Tokyo $7441.00.

    Thanks Ace

Re: Adding additional colums in the pivot table

    Hi there,

Grand total would always be last column... you can add extra column but then those would be outside the pivot.
Option to remove the grand total column -> Right click -> pivot table options -> Total & filters -> Uncheck options for " Show grand totals for rows and columns "

    In your sheet use
    =SUMPRODUCT(--(C2:C24=I10),--(D2:D24=I11),E2:E24)
