Conditional Formatting for another Cell's value when using Data Bars

    Hi there,

I have a document attached and it has a list of peoples names in Column A, and values in column B. As you can see I have put the data bars conditional formatting on column B which is very straight forward. However what I want to do is have that data bar conditional formatting show on top of the names instead of the numbers themselves. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

    Bit of a crude workaround...

On format style check the 'Show Bar Only' check box. In an adjacent column, populate the numbers using =B1

See attached. Does this work for you?

Another Crude workaround would be to make a linked image of the text you want and place it over the databars (with show bars only option). So in the solution above, copy A1:A10 and past as a linked image in cell B1.
