    Count Unique Names in Pivot Table

    I am trying to figure out how to count unique values in a Pivot table. for eg(Bob:2, Bill:3, James:4) I want the count to return 3 and not (2+3+4=9).Thanks

    Hi,

    Could you please attach the file? Because, pivot table generally shows the Unique values.

    However you can try this...
    In the field list section use count in Values section.

    Please see attached file. I am trying to get the mothly totals to count the names instead of displaying a 1 for the totals. Thanks
