I need to rearrange a lot of data

    Hi all-

I am working on a large spreadsheet in which I have a lot of different words abbreviated that I need to un-abbreviate and then move all the un-abbreviated words to the end of the line of text.
    Example:

    "Go to Mt. Rainier"

    Needs to be:

    "Go to Rainier Mount"

There are about 40,000 rows to this and find/replace is difficult because there are so many different abbreviations. It is easy to make a mistake.

    Thanks!

    Hi dionmj1,

This is appearing to be kind of project work... would suggest you to break down you data in different batches (similar data wise batches) and then try to solve this.. I don't think a single formula or a single macro would suit your entire database.. thanks.

I don't believe there is any easy way around this. Good luck!
