Exclamation add current date and copy down to all rows without changing

I am able to enter the current date into the first cell, but how do I copy it down to all rows without changing the day by one on each row?

Have you tried Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V?

If you're trying to use the drag handle to copy values down, enter the same value in 2 cells, then highlight both cells before dragging.

Select the cell with the date. But instead of copy and paste, click on the small square at the right bottom of the cell and hold in and drag down. This should add a day automatically. you will see that your mouse cursor change from a "fat" cross to a "thin" cross once you are on top of that little square, then just click, hold the click in, drag down and release the click.
