Looking up different data sets depending on option selected.

    Hi

    Please see attached document

In Column B, when I write the department name, I want it to automatically use the appropriate data set on the right hand side (G3:N10).

So if I say 'vegetables' in B2, it will automatically select the data table named vegetables to select the appropriate number based on the other criteria in A2 and C2.

If I say 'fruit' in B2, it will select the data table named Fruit etc etc.

Thanks for any help with how to do this automatically.

    and copy down.

    Hope this helps.

Have you changed them in column G as well as in column A? Perhaps you could re-post another example so I can see what you've got now.

    Hi Sarah,

the formula in E2 should now be as follows:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

    then copy down as before.

    Hope this helps.
