    Sorting issue

Let me preface with I am Not a proficient/regular user of Excel, but I do need assistance. If any one could...I have a significant amount of data (2k pages) trying to sort by one column, of course maintaining relevance to all columns. Problem is.....in one column instead of wrapping the txt in a row some one has continued each what would be additional line in a new cell below.
So I have attached a sample of the .xlsx What I am trying to do is sort by Column D, keeping relevance to all other columns but as you can see column C was not entered in a way that I am able to sort the data. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance
