    Formatting Check Boxes Issue

    Hi all

I'm trying to format a series of check-boxes so that they do two things:

    1. As you'll see in the sample file, there is a drop down menu next to the "minimum number of widgets" cell. Selecting one of them should automatically render some of the cells unavailable e.g. selecting 15 widgets will make the check box under north with the 1-3 designation unavailable because there are only 10 "1-3" widgets. Similarly, selecting a minimum of 50 widgets will make all check boxes other than the check boxes in the 15-20 row unavailable.

    2. I also want to make it so that it will say how many units of widgets are needed. It's not a matter of a simple countif function as each check box represents 10 units rather than only one. For instance, if 3 check boxes are selected, the total number of units should be 30.

Thank you very much in advance for the help! A sample is attached to this post.

    Re: Formatting Check Boxes Issue

You have to select Cell B11 to see it. It's a very basic list.

EDIT: This might be a lot easier on VBA if the check boxes are done on ActiveX Control. How do you hide a check box if the cell B11 has a certain value depending on the selection?
