Auto Populate Day Date and year

Hello can someone please point me in the direction of a code to do the following?
I have made a simple spreadsheet to capture data from Monday to Saturday
Mon is in A2 Tues in A12 ect.what I would like to acheive is for the day and date to auto populate correctly to save manually inputing this data on a weekly basis.

Hi I have Cell A2 That yesterday i typed Monday 10/09/2012 in cell A12 today i typed Tuesday 11/09/2012...
Next week I will just make a copy of my blank master and call it DATA WC 17/09/2012 and do this weekly,now I'm very new to Excel and am sure there is a way for this simple spreadsheet to auto populate I'll try to attach it
