Trim and have desired numericals

Hi,
some one can pls guide me how to do the following. I have the below given datas
column a column b
1. 0000000563170120909153102.sif
2. 0000000665824120909153203.sif
3. 0000000534344120909153304.sif
4. 0000000563138120909153405.sif
5. 0000000639069120909153610.sif

i want the result to be like this.

1. 563170
2. 665824


i have remove the first 7 zeros and keep the next 6 digits and remove other digits in all 5 column.
