Multiple CountIf Statement using TEXT and MONTH

    Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered before, I can't seem to find anything that will work for me.

What I'm trying to achieve is to have the cells in Sheet 1 populated with the count of data from the table in Sheet 2.

For example the formula would be something like:
    Sheet1 B2 = CountIf (Table1Sheet2[Type]="First Aid", and, Month/Year from Table1Sheet 2 = Month/Year from Table2Sheet1) **Sorry my excel language is terrible.

So the end result would count all the first aids/medical aids per month/year from Sheet2 on Sheet1 as per the example I've included.

I want this to try and be dynamic so it up dates itself as I enter new data in Sheet2. I can achieve quite easily in a Pivot Table but I want to do it in formula as this is part of a larger table.

    Test.xlsx

    I appreciate any help, thanks!

hi GonzoSS, is your example's figures the final result? cause in Jan, there seems to be only 1 First Aid. i used:
    =SUMPRODUCT((TEXT(Table1[Date],"mmyy")=TEXT($A2,"mmyy"))*(Table1[Type]=B$1))

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.

    Thanks benishiryo!

That works a treat. Yeah, sorry about my example, it was incorrect.
