Series Base Formula needed

Hello all,

i want short my codes by using formula

i have lost of codes like below ..

91990
91991
91992
91993
91994
91995
91996
91997
91998
91999

if this type series available i want in result 9199 , 9199 cover my all codes.

am also attach excel please look a provide me a good formula for that..

Well, if you do not mind the code appearing at the bottom instead of top, then use the foll. formula. (Assuming the actual codes are sorted in any order and begin from B2).

thanks for your formula but.. i want complete Series 0 to 9 that time need to short code otherwise need blank cell.
