    Formatting issue

    Hi All

Have an issue with copying and pasting data from SQL Management Studio to Excel 2010.

What happens is I have a description field where users are able to use the return key to enter their description. What happens when I select a result when this has happened Excel reads that the other parts of the result are pasted onto the next row below it.

This issue does not happen in Excel 2007.

Can someone advise if its an issue with Excel and how to fix or if its SQL Management Studio?

    Hi TheSneakiness,

    Welcome to the forum.

What happens when I select a result when this has happened Excel reads that the other parts of the result are pasted onto the next row below it.

This part is not clear.. are you saying that when you copy a data set, the set which got copied earlier is getting pasted??
