Creating a Scrollable Table/Pivot/Range within a sheet?

Hi, i have source data that is 1,000s of lines long.

I'm building a front page dashboard type thing that allows the user to slice and dice data.

However, they still want a list of individual items. So i was wondering whether i could somehow embed a table that has dozens of rows into only a few rows on the sheet but somehow have a scroll bar that would allow the user to cycle up and down the table without the sheet moving...

Any ideas?
