Hi guys - I wonder if you can help me out. I'm working on a relatively large spreadsheet, designed to show the progress of our investigations (defined in the spreadsheet by Acronym) on a monthly basis.
We need to recruit staff for investigative purposes, for a variety of reasons. We have an approval date (for start of investigation) and an end date (for end of investigation). During this time we need to recruit a certain number of staff - seen in column T - 'Target'. So, for example - if we take the investigation 'ABCDEFGHIJ' - this started in 01/07/2011 and will end in 01/02/2014. The target for this particular investigation is 75, which works out at 2.4 per month to try and recruit if we are to meet our target at the end!
The staff we recruit are given a unique identifier - in the case above, you'll see this in column G - 'StudyStaffID'.
So, I can produce a pivot table to show the number of staff recruits per investigation (acronym) - that's OK. But I want to plot, on a chart (using pivots so the users can select which investigation they want to look at):
The monthly count of recruits
The overall target they need to achieve
The monthly target they need to achieve
Some way of showing the number of days until the investigation is due to end.
How can I do all of this??
Can any of you help? I have attached a spreadsheet for your reference.
Many many thanks in advance.
