Check Boxs can not be selected or edited on worksheet

    Hey guys,

I cannot delete check boxes (ActiveX) from an excel worksheet.

I know how to normally do this (Design mode>left click> delete) but my mouse only clicks on the cell and not the check box. The real problem is that I cannot select or edit this boxes.

    Notes about problem:
    • I cannot "check" or "uncheck" them
    • they are not attached to cells
    • I can not just hide rows or columns to semi fix the problem (they stay above the new row/column)

This is a VERY dynamic excel sheet (multiple SQL database connection) so recreating it in an entirely new excel would take hours. Anyone ever encountered this bug or can offer advice for me to trouble shoot this?

I've encountered a bug when using another developer tool (combo box). When you change the number or size of screens you are using while the worksheet with the combo box was open then the box would grow as the text shrunk every time you clicked it. Anyone hear of something like this bug for check boxes?

    Thanks
