    Horizontal Autofill Problem

Hi guys, i have a row like this

    ='Master (3)'!$H20

and i drag it to the left, with my hope of result from the auto fill is

    ='Master (3)'!$H21; ='Master (3)'!$H22; and so on

but the result is blank when i choose "Fill formating only" at autofill option
    Any solution?

    Thanks

    Re: Horizontal Autofill Problem

How are you interpreting "fill formatting only"?

    Re: Horizontal Autofill Problem

$H20 will become H21, H22, etc. only when you drag it down. And fill formatting copies only the formatting style. Do you have any formatting style on the first cell?

So it's no way to make it $H20 to be H21, H22 when i drag it to the right?

    Re: Horizontal Autofill Problem

    substitute
    ='Master (3)'!$H20
    with
    =INDIRECT("master3!H"&-COLUMN(T:T)+40)
than drag to the left and see the result

I think the sheet name given in the indirect formula is wrong. You have given it as master(3). So, the indirect formula will be
    Formula: copy to clipboard
