Associating names from multiple rows with highest numbers

I am trying to associate opponents in a fantasy league with the highest scores of the season.

In AM519:AR523 I am tracking quarterback points. The top 5 overall scores for the season are being recorded, along with the player name, the player’s team, and the owner of the player.

In AR519:AB523 I am wanting to put in the owner of the team that the points were scored against (the opponent for that particular week).

The opponents are listed in rows for each week:

    F5:V5
    F55:V55
    F105:V105
    F155:V155
    F206:V206
    F256:V256
    F306:V306
    F356:V356
    F407:V407
    F458:V458

Is there any way of associating these team owners (opponents) with the player, team, points and owner who scored against them?

    Thanks for any help !

    Hi Daminaberry,

I guess you need results in AR519:AR523 instead of what you mentioned as "AR519:AB523" .. please confirm.

Also, it would be good if you put in some results manually and I will try to obtain them using formulas. thanks.

Yes, sorry, I need the results in column AR519:AR523.

AR519 should return the result of G407 (vs Dave B)
AR520 should return the result of K155 (vs Scott S)

Re: Associating names from multiple rows with highest numbers

    Moo,

I have it working under the quarterbacks, but when I copy and paste that formula to the running backs, wide receivers, etc, I'm not getting the right result. Any suggestions?

Re: Associating names from multiple rows with highest numbers

It appears that the reason it worked for QB's is that all of the top 5 point-weeks were done by starting QB's, and they were all in the first row below the opponent's row. I have to get to some sleep now, but I will look into it tomorrow and see if I can come up with a good solution - unless someone comes up with one before then.

OK, I tested this and it seems to work, change the formula to:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Should be able to paste that in AR519-AR523, as well as the other positions. Let me know how it works.

    Moo,

That took care of it! I appreciate your help. I hope that extra half an hour you took doesn't cut too much into your sleep.

    Thanks,
    Damian
