Excel Automatically Changes Case in Formula Against My Wishes

I am using a 3rd party Excel Add-on that uses javascript to convert Excel spreadsheets to HTML. There are several formulas with this add-on that relies on formulas that are case sensitive. For instance, I want the formula to say =wwsHideRows but then Excel automatically changes it to =wwshiderows. In that case, the formula does not work after conversion to HTML. I have tried fixing this problem with autocorrect, autocomplete and a variety of other "tools" options but I cannot get Excel to stop doing this. I think it has to do with remembering the formula the way I typed it once before. How do I clear Excel of that memory? Any other ideas?

Yes. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

You could try turning autocorrect off (Options >> Proofing >> Autocorrect options).

More importantly can you show us the formula you are talking about because I don't seem to have this problem.

Turning autocorrect off did not fix the problem. What I want is "=wwsHideRows(19)". Excel changes it to "=wwshiderows(19)". This is an example of many similar formulas I need to use. I know there is a way to fix it because the developer alerted me to this problem. He just didn't explain very well how to fix it. Note that these forumulas are add-in formulas.

I think you're going to have to contact the creator of the add-in for further advice. I can't seem to replicate your problem.
