Zero value result displaying as blank cell

I have a simple count statment for a 3 cell range that all have <0.013 in them, the result is 0, but he cell displays as a blank. I need to display the 0.

This count statment works fine (shows the number) when the result is not 0.

I tried making count subject range and result cells general format, number format, and I see not conditional formatting in this workbook.

This is an earlier version of Excel converted to an Excel 2007 work book.

Any help on this problem would be apprieciated.

    Thanks,

Update - this is an issue for the entire Excel file: if I enter "0" in a cell, it displays as a blank, if I copy the formula or "0" value to another Excel file, displays as "0".

Excel options, Advanced, Display Options for this Worksheet,

needed to check "Show a zero in cells that have a zero value"
