Rename cell according to a particular word in file name

Hi All

I have a spreadsheet called - # 3456 INVOICE Mr Brown
In Cell G1 I have the word "INVOICE".
If I 'save as' - # 3456 DELIVERY NOTE Mr Brown - I need the cell G1 to automatically display the word "DELIVERY NOTE".

Is this possible ??

If so please advise on how to do that.

Of course the values given are examples. So to generalise: if the filename at open contains DELIVERY NOTE at save, place that phrase in cell G1.
This assumes (seems reasonable but but lazy) that the first condition applies (INVOICE in name before).
Plase this macro in the ThisWorkbook document module.

Im not really sure what you mean. I tried to follow your instructions , but it didnt work .
Im sure it does , but I cant seem to get it right.

Indeed you are correct; it does not ask the save name until after the event has fired. Ho hum.
