onthe above link i was looking at - i have got to step 5 and found the Microsoft MonthView Control 6.0 isnt there??!? any explanation or how i can get it there!!?!?

Because it is a cab file, I think it will self install if you double click on it after downloading. You can then delete the cab file.
Install the MSCOMCT2.OCX file in the user's Microsoft Windows System or
System32 directory. and then it should be available in the reference list..
it jsut pings up access denied when i try and save it in them files???!?!
sorry - im being annoying now!! grr!
If you are working in a corporate environment, you may have to check with your IT people. They have probably denied you access to the system files on your machine. I am at the end of my knowledge base on this issue. Good Luck.

Perhaps a new thread with this issue may give rise to some help that was not available before.
Using the mscomctl.ocx date picker control doesn't work always on all machines and all versions of excel.
To avoid this problem you can create your own date picker on userform.
