Errors were detected while saving

Hi there, I have created an excel 2007 *.xlsm document and had no issues saving it at time of creation. I. Currently encounter an error when attempting to save the document "errors were detected while saving 'c:users\name\desktop\file.xlsm. Excel may be able to save the file by removing or repairing some features. To make repairs in a new file click continue

I am therefore not allowed to save the document in the xlsm format

Please help

okay... did you ever opened that file in excel 2003 or earlier versions.. as this error message hints on that side ? thanks.
