Help with math bracket calculation order

    Hello,

I am having trouble trying to do a sum in excel

i want to do one sum minus another then divide by another so i put

    =(1*60+5)-(1*60+5)/3

without the divide on the end i get the right answer but when i put the divide part on it does nothing.

lets say maths wasn't my strongest subject in school lol.

Thanks for looking and for your help

    Hi

Try another set of brackets one after the equals sign and one before the divide that way the divide will happen last of all
