2 identical sheets , linked to eachother?

Hello,

I have 2 files both with 1 sheet which should be identical.

Is it possible to link these 2 ? ( so save copying and finding changes work)

The sheet is named MAIN in both the files.
One in file " x.xls" and one in file "y.xls" I would like to link them in a way when someone changes something in file X it will change in file Y too.
And the other way around , so if someone changes something in file Y it will also change in file X. Preferably when the sheet is closed and opened again.

Reason for this question: In this sheet "MAIN" some persons only add new data to column A B C and D ( new rows for instance)
And the other people enters only data in K. But they cant do this at the same time because of the read only problem. And it would be easier because they wont have to switch different files all the time.
