In one excel document I have a set of numbers in column A in 43 excel sheets. I would like to eliminate all of the numbers that do not appear in column A in every excel
A different number of rows appear in each column A of each excel sheet. For example the highest number of rows for any column A highest is over 1100. I think it would be too difficult to use the 'find' function.
I have attempted to provide a visual example. If this were my excel sheet I would be able to delete the rows where numbers 2340, 1443, and 9200 appear in column A. Since they do not appear in column A in every sheet.
ColumnAsheet1 ColumnBsheet1 ColumnCsheet1 8343 3452 9239 2340 9201 1025
ColumnAsheet2 ColumnBsheet2 ColumnCsheet2 8343 3002 9234 9200 9201 1023 1443 1003 9244
ColumnAsheet3 ColumnBsheet3 ColumnCsheet3 8343 3002 9234 9200 9201 1023
If this is not possible what recommendations would anyone have?
I could copy every column A into a new worksheet. If I do this I would have to go back into the original document and delete each row that did not appear in every column of the new workbook.
Any help is greatly appreciated! I hope you found this explanation clear!
Maybe I should add that each column has a title, of course I can delete the titles of the columns.
