Angry protected sheet Vs column hidden

I use an Italian localization of:

    - Windows 7 professional service pack 1

    - Office 2010 Profetion Plus (Excel version 14.0.6123.5001 32Bit)

    My problem:

In same particular file when I protected a sheet (also with the flag marked to allowed all operation) and I try to unhide a column the system crash.

I prepare a VERY simple file extracting the “corrupted” sheet from my original file still presenting the problem to submit it.
    Here is it issue2.xlsx

It is very strange no macro, no variable, no data, only one sheet, only protection activated (no pwd) and if you try to select column A:C the system stop working before opening the propriety menu to select unhide.

    note
If you try to unhide by manualy resize (draging the mouse near heddin column) it works
No effect if convert to xls <=> xlsx

    Hi djwaz69,
Thank you for your quick answer during holiday (Happy New Year).

The file is already uploaded (click the link “issue2.xlsx”)
Only same specific workbooks have the problem.

Happy new Year to you to.

Its working fine at my end, may be there are some OS or Office issue, you can try reinstalling them. If its with the same workbook , you can always create a new one as there are no vba or any other data in it.

Sorry, the file I have uploaded is not already protected, so if you try to unhide it works.
Please try again but first of all protect the sheet.

    Thanks jhon55,
perhaps you have no problem because you are using Excel 2007, can any other with Excel 2010 confirm the behavior?
