Certain cells on my Excel spreadsheet have either 1) bigger size or 2) missing highlight

Hey folks, thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

If you look at cell D6, it's visibly larger than surrounding cells. How do I make it the same as all the other cells?
If you look at cell D10 and E12, there a small strip of white (or otherwise not highlighted). How do I make it fully highlighted like all other cells?

Thanks for the effort, but that didn't seem to solve it. I changed the border of D5 to green, and I still see a white strip. I did the same to the border of D6, and I still see the white strip.

Any other suggestions ?
