Adding a Yes/No selection option to cells.

I want to set up a cell so that when the cursor is on the cell a drop down option appears allowing the selection of a yes or no to be shown in the cell.

What's this called and how do I set it up?

    Thanks,

hi cheiss8078. that would be a Data Validation. select the cells you want the dropdown applied to (say B1:B5). go to Data -> Data Validation -> Allow: List -> Source:
    Yes,No

you could also refer it to cell reference that contains the "Yes" & "No" like:
    G1:G2

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
