How to make sure Cell A1 & B1 on sheet 2 never save data when leaving the sheet or saving?

This one still has us stumped so I'll clarify my issue. I have a 2 sheet excel file; sheet 1 users may make perm changes on but sheet two only temp changes may be made. Ideally when a user leaves sheet 2 anytime their changes (like a check box that was checked or the qty of a product desired) return to their original values (unchecked or 0.)

What I'm doing with the spread sheet is to figure our serial numbering and labeling requirements will is based on the factory location and product qty required. Sheet one is where the serial numbers are entered by the used based on sheet 2 selections (which factory and how many widgets required.)

Thanks for all those who took a look at my challenge. Maybe there is another way to accomplish this - most open to suggestions. Short re-summary of challenge is how to make sure a cell on sheet 2 is never saved upon exit but entries may be made in this cell before saving. Changes are allowed the other sheet. IE Sheet 1 do whatever and save but sheet 2 make a change to the cell just don't allow saves. thxs JT

I wish to restate the issue I can not solve. How can we allow saved changed on sheet 1 but only temporary changes on sheet 2. Any suggestion greatly appreciated. j

This one still has us stumped. Have a 2 sheet workbook, sheet two we'll say has one cell that users can enter anything and there is nothing else on the sheet. However, whenever the workbook is saved, clear or make the value of that one cell zero. I guess it would also be as effective to have the value of that one cell cleared upon opening the workbook.
