Delete ALL but characters at left or right of cell.

    Hi.

Is there a formula to delete all characters from a cell except for the first or last two?

    Thanks.

Well, you could put this in a cell and try it:

    =LEFT(A1,2)&RIGHT(A1,2)

That will result in the first two characters of cell A1 immediately followed by the last two characters in A1.
