One of the cells in my spreadsheet contains a start date, the other a complete date. I'd like to have a cell that displays a percentage that depicts the ratio of where I am today. For example. Start date 01.10.2013. Complete date 01.15.2013. If today's date were 01.12.2013, the percentage would be 40%. Thanks very much for any help offered.
If start date is in A1, End date is in A2, the following should work:

Use below formula:-
=(D1-A1)/(B1-A1)
where a1 = 10-Jan-2013, B1= 15-jan-2013 and d1 = 12-jan-2013. Format the result as percentage when you are done. thanks.
