How do you delete all cells that are not highlighted

    Hi!

I have manually highlighted a large magnitude of cells (I would have tried some sort of automation but there isn't really a pattern unfortunately). The cells that I did not highlight are useless to me, and I would like to get rid of them. Is there any way to delete all cells that are not highlighted on a given sheet?

    Thanks for your help!

Could you copy those highlighted cells to another sheet and delete the original sheet?

Yes, i could do that, but I dont want to manually select every highlighted cell (there are thousands). I was hoping there would be a way to select only the cells I have highlighted, or delete all those that I did not. Do you know of any way to select or delete cells based on their formatting? Perhaps with a macro or something?
