    Sort Names separated by semi-colon

Hi, I have a long list of names

    Doe, John;Doe Jane; etc..

Is there any way to have Excel separate them into individual cells?

    Hi her.rockstar,

If you import the data as a delimited text file and set the delimiter character to ";" it will do what you are asking for.

See http://www.uwec.edu/help/Excel03/importingdata.htm or find other examples for Excel Delimited Import.
