I have been put on a project to extract details from one single cell and put it into other cells to create a pivot table. Sounds easy however the data from this one cell can vary from 1 time to being seen 15 times in one single cell. How do I extract just the data I'm looking for after the first set is extracted? what piece of my data am I missing from my formula? let me give you an example below.
the data looks like this:
Oper: YW Date: 12/14/12 9:39am
mortgagee cls to sign, e-amiled to debbie for signature, also
just another correction april
Oper: KB Date: 01/21/13 11:55am
emailed for signature again.
Oper: KB Date: 01/22/13 10:38am
rcvd signed - emailed to company through website for processing.
=MID(AQ2,SEARCH("Oper:",AQ2,1)+6,3) Gave me the first Oper: KB /for the date same thing, but the others? please help
and I need to only extract the "Oper: ID" and the "Date:: into two diffrent colunms , one colunm per sequence of Oper: ID and Date. I was able to do the first one no problem using this formula: =MID(AQ2,SEARCH("Oper:",AQ2,1)+6,3) which gave me the ID for the first occurance in the cell but what about the 2nd or the 3rd as shown above? how do I get that out of this single cell using a regular formula, no vba or scrubbing?
