Open multiple workbooks and display on two screens

Is it possible to open Excel in one instance and have two workbooks open and display them on two monitors?

I studied couple google searches, but without success...

From memory, you need to open Excel and stretch it across 2 monitors. Then open each book in window mode and open one on each monitor.

You could also try opening 2 instances of excel.
