Showing only active months in chart data

Hello. I've attached a chart with variance data for each month of the year. I've used an IF formula to "NA" the months with no data, so nothing shows up in the chart. However, I would like to know if it's possible to have the chart only show months with data. The IF formula gets rid of the data point but it doesn't prevent the chart from showing the month on the X axis. In the attached file I manually selected the three months with data. Help would be appreciated. Book1.xlsx

Your chart only shows Oct - Dec when I open it? what are you seeing?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

I know, because I manually selected Oct-Dec from the data. But I would like to select all of the months (jan-dec) BUT have it show only the months that have corresponding data (not NA). Make sense?

If you move your data away from under the chart, you can hide those columns with NA. the hidden columns wont show in your chart

But, there isn't a formula that will automatically not include those columns? I'd prefer to just have it update automatically based on whether there is data in the series or not. There has to be a way to do this.
