File size reduction _ Macro-Enabled Worksheet (.xlsm)

I have a 10MB 2010 workbook that I would like to compress/reduce the file size. I have read several techniques and tried things such as saving as an XLSB, but haven't had alot of luck. Would anyone have some proven ideas/steps I can try to accomplish this?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: File size reduction _ Macro-Enabled Worksheet (.xlsm)

There are 50 differant data sets in the same workbook structure. some data sets are much larger than others, yet all of the workbooks come in around 10-11 mb.

    I have tried:
    • ziping the file: not real condusive to sending the file back and forth and even then it was over 7mb
    • Saving as a .xlsb
    • Saving as a .xls
    • removed all blank rows/columns and resaving
When the file was in 2003 version is was much smaller. When I converted to 2010 it ballooned.

    Thanks
