    2010 Excel Checkbox Issue

    Greetings,

I have created a 2010 Excel spreadsheet that contains multiple check boxes and other cells whose calculated result are dependent on these check boxes. The spreadsheet is password protected. For some reason, the check boxes are not functioning; That is, I can't even click on them. Any advice or direction on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated! The workbook containing the spreadsheet is available for users online. Might this have some bearing on the matter??

The cell that the check box is linked to has to be unlocked or Excel can not change that cell so it will not except the check.
Unlocking cells is under the Home Tab and Cells group under format.
Yes it will. we just have to figure out how...

Thanks for the prompt response. I have added a new check box, not linked to anything, and it won't (cannot click). I unprotected the source to the existing check boxes but they still do not allow me to click on them as well.. I even changed the workbook out of Compatibility Mode to no avail.. What could it be??

    Re: 2010 Excel Checkbox Issue

I figured it out! The problem was that the workbook had macros that had to be enabled for the check boxes to work.
Thanks for the assistance (and patience) throughout this process.
