How to make multi-color Cells?

Hi,

So my goal is to have a cell with multiple colors. For example I'm making team brackets and would like to indicate each school by team colors as well.

If possible, I would like half the cell to be one color and the other half to be the other color, not mixed together. In the case where a school has 3 colors, each color would take up 1/3 of the cell. Please let me know if this is even possible! Thanks.

Right click the cell and choose "Format Cells." On the Fill tab, use fill effects.
