    Filter Help

I have some data in my workbook that I want to sort by month, so I don't have to scroll down for new entries. When I try to filter by date, my rows hide, how can I just filter the dates and not effect the other table on my worksheet.

Attached is my workbook, Bill&Payment is the sheet I want to filter by date. When you look at it the Payments is what I want to just shrink down to month, so as I input data I don't have a super long list......I can just filter what I want to look at. When I do filter, I want to keep the Bill Table to stay put.

    Thanks for the help

You will have to use Advanced Filter and copy to a new location on the sheet:

    Re: Filter Help

Why not simply stack the two tables, such as in the attached?
