How to remove characters within (XXX)

Hi all, hopefully you can direct me to the correct logic..

I am looking for a formula that can remove any character within two characters, in this example the characters are "()"... hope the example is clear.

    Original:

    30K (reduce PO from 50k to 30k)

    Result:
    30K ()

I would think a macro is the way to go..but my knowledge in that field is very limited. Do you know if a formula can help?
    Thank you!

    Try Ctrl + H
    replace what (*)
    With ()
    replace All
    Done
