A4 output of a selected database information

Hello,

I am definitely new here and even though i am not new to excel, i'm currently discovering the database aspects of excel.

Let say if i have a database of say, student information, NAME, AGE, ADDRESS, CLASS, EXAM RESULTS etc...and my boss wanted a printout on A4 paper
of a particular student which covers the whole row of information regarding that particular student. And the output has to be in a presentable
format (for formal letters etc)and not in rows and columns. How do i do that?

Do you have the rest of the Office suite? If you want a nice report, you could design something in Publisher and set up a mail merge which links to the Excel "database". I'd also set up a lookup sheet in Excel so you can select the student you want in Excel and summarize that one student in one row on the spreadsheet, and use this as the linked table to Publisher.
