    Need to track departments employees contact hours with outside agency weekly Excel 2010

    Hi;

    I have been "asked" to start tracking my department's employee's contacts, meetings with outside agencies. I have to collect information on each employees contact and meetings with outside agencies. I have to give a brief description of the contact/meeting along with the hours the employee is involved with the tasks. I have do this on a weekly bases and give a year to date total hours for each employee and for the department.

    I have started an Excel 2010 work book since this is an ongoing weekly report I would like to automate some of process in this project. I am wondering if anyone has done a similar workbook in Excel 2010?

    Hello from Central Va(Lynchburg). I don't have anything already done, but may I can help automate something you are working on. Totaling columns isn't too difficult, and I can help with that. I've generated several reports to track employee attendance and vacation scheduling...etc. I understand the need to automate.

    John Thanks I am concerned with trying to do this on a weekly basis trying to keep things together over the course of updating each week. That's 52 weeks a year of spreadsheets.. I want to keep it simple..
    Thanks for the prompt reply by the way.

    Can you post up an example of what you're working on....?

    Do you have a workbook with 53 worksheets? (52 weekly reports and an annual report)
