    Excel import Q

I have text files I need to import into Excel 2010.
The cols are delimited by CR/LF.

The excel import wizard does not allow it. It has "Other" but I can't see how to enter a code.
    How can this be done?

If I wrote code to pull it in. I have 70 separate text files (flat files) that need to load one at at time.
On step 2 of the wizard, it shows "Other", if I hit Alt/Enter excel beeps...
Hitting "Enter' takes me to the next step. entering Chr$(10) or 13 is not allowed.

None of the other selections will work

Can't you type the code in a cell and then copy/paste?

The text file contains data like this

    110

Each line contains a CR/LF or 0D0A. I need to be able to pull this into excel
But the wizard does not seem to have a way to use CR/LF as a delimiter

Yes I understand the problem. What I meant was that you could paste the invisible carriage return character into the box in the wizard.
Or you could just google "text to columns carriage return", quite a few results.

The keyword here seems to be "numeric keypad". I don't know what to do if you're on a laptop (other than borrowing someones keyboard and plug-in for a minute ).

    Re: Excel import Q

That was a cut & paste. At each line break is a cr/lf.

As far as I can see Excel has no way of defining them in the wizard....
