Excel Printing Problem

Hi

I have a problem with a spreadsheet I'm trying to print. In the print preview box it shows a blank sheet with just an outline and that is exactly what it prints! I am trying to fit to one page, if I take off this option it will print the sheet over 9 pages. I have tried clearing and resetting the print area but that doesn't help.

I am running Excel 2011 for Mac.

Can anyone help with this? I've spent weeks working on the sheet and now can't print it!!

Hi Rebecca,

I don't know anything about Excel for Mac, but it could just be that it's a more general problem. If you have nine pages of data and you are trying to get that to condense onto one page, it may be that there isn't a font small enough to print.

Try scaling it to, say, 1 wide by 5 tall or perhaps 2 by 2. If that works, it's probably just a matter of scale. You may find there is a point beyond which you cannot go.
