    advanced filtering

    Hi,
Say my column called "numbers" and contains numbers - 1,2,3,4 and so forth.
I know that I can go to the top of the column and to write there criterions. So if for example I write >2 only 3 and 4 would appear in the filtered range.
But if my data look like this: 1a, 2b, 3c, 4d and so force, what criterion should I write in order to remain only with data contains, say, the letter a. Or in other words to remain only with 1a.
    Thank you

    Re: advanced filtering

Add a column to your table with a formula which tests for 1, or 2, or both like =isnumber(search(1,<cell>)) then filter on that

Please take a look at the attached file.
How can I sort the column by size, when M represents millions, and B billions?
