Row numbers bunched up - how do i get it back to normal? (pic included)

    Hi

My rows have suddenly bunched up as you can see in the picture between 542 and 3,495. How do I get it back to normal where you can see the lines 1 by 1?

    Thanks excel number2.png

Select the Row 542 and Row 3495 and do right click and select unhide

You need not to do it for 3000 times when your selection covers those 3000 rows at the time of giving unhide.

I've selected both lines at once and individually and it still only reveals one more row at a time when I press unhide... any ideas?

To be absolutely sure of what is happening,
click on the number 542. This should highlight the whole row.
    Hold down the shift key
Click on the number 3495. This should highlight all rows that you can see between 542 and 3495
Right click in this area and select unhide.

You can also see this effect if there is a filter on.
    Goto data
In the sort & filter section click on clear.

    Has this helped?

    Regards
    Alastair
