Editing spreadsheet while Find & Replace is open

I've tried to find the answer to my question but can't find any.

I need to keep the Find & Replace dialogue box open while editing the data in the spreadsheet. It is very time consuming and annoying to have to close the dialogue box every time I want to edit the spreadsheet. There must be a solution because I can do it in my laptop's Excel 2013, but not in another PC with Excel 2013. Do I need to change the settings somewhere?

This is standard functionality and you dont have to change anything. If you are having issues I suggest you try running a repair of your office installation and ensure all updates have been downloaded and installed.
